Primatix was thrilled to partner with the talented team at TBA PLC to deliver a unique and custom AI photo booth brand activation at an F1 Fan Zone for Lenovo.
This activation was a key component of an engagement campaign centred around Lenovo’s role in supporting Formula 1.
Our mission was to create an unforgettable experience that would resonate with guests and amplify Lenovo’s brand in the lead-up to the F1 event at Silverstone in July 2024.
The full suite of activities included VR motion simulators as well as AI driver filter photos, enabling guests to immerse themselves in the full F1 experience!

A key component of this AI photo booth brand activation was a ‘no onsite hardware’ approach — we had no AI photo booth onsite. Rather, guests were invited to scan a QR code and run through the brand activation on their own mobile devices. This mobile-first approach allows the activation to be run without taking up physical space at a brand activation, as well as reducing any bottlenecks from queuing.
The AI photo booth brand activation was designed to be simple to engage with, ensuring that each participant left with a unique and highly personalised piece of branded content — with the added incentive for social posting via a prize draw for tickets to the F1 the following week.
This activation for Lenovo underscored the power of a hyper-personalised AI brand activation in driving engagement at scale. By transforming guests into F1 drivers, we not only created a memorable experience but also reinforced Lenovo’s brand positioning within the world of Formula 1.
