What We Did
Overview
At ServiceNow Knowledge 2026, Ondaro turned its "ride the wave of what's next" brand line into a working AI surf activation, run inside a fixed 15'x20' turnkey booth at The Venetian, Las Vegas, with a second rig covering an evening VIP party across the resort.
Client: Ondaro
Event: ServiceNow Knowledge 2026
Location: The Venetian Resort, Las Vegas, USA
Date: May 2026
The challenge: a strict turnkey booth
Ondaro, an Elite ServiceNow Partner, helps clients work through complex enterprise automation, with the "riding the wave" metaphor at the centre of its messaging. The activation had to land that idea within tight constraints:
- A 15'x20' turnkey exhibition space with fixed layout rules and little freedom to build.
- Show regulations that meant live printing likely wouldn't be permitted on the main exhibition floor.
- A brief spanning two venues: the daytime expo booth and an evening VIP party at Wakuda restaurant in the Palazzo.
- Generating distinctly different surfing poses from a single AI model without the outputs feeling repetitive.
The solution: a multi-stage AI surf kiosk
We built a compact AI Trading Card kiosk to fit Ondaro's constrained footprint. To avoid uniform outputs, the experience offered three user-selectable stages drawn from Ondaro's own consultation framework: "Getting Ready," "Paddling Out" and "Going Big." We tested the model to remove common bias errors and hold accurate facial and hair mapping across a full range of guests.
Rather than generic stock elements, our tech team built patterns from Ondaro's internal brand assets into the AI-generated surfboards, so each card carried the brand rather than sitting beside it. To cover the evening VIP party without touching the expo setup, we deployed a second independent rig; guests at the restaurant left with their cards in hard-shell or semi-rigid protective cases.

Results
- A single Las Vegas crew ran an afternoon Day 1 setup, high-volume daytime booth operations and the transition to the off-site after-party.
- Ondaro's executive leadership showed the live app on a global all-hands call before the event to build internal excitement.
- Attendees downloaded their digital trading cards to their phones and shared them under the campaign tag #CatchTheWave.
Why it worked
The move from "Paddling Out" to "Going Big" gave Ondaro's sales reps a natural way into a conversation about enterprise automation. When executive feedback arrived late, we turned it around inside a three-week build. And because the cards shipped in protective top-loader sleeves, they held their place on executive desks long after Knowledge closed.
"Download your image, share on LinkedIn, tag & follow @Ondaro, use #CatchTheWave and you might just ride away with a prize!"
The same AI trading card format works across conference floors: Qlik's All-Star cards pulled live leaderboard scores at Qlik Connect, and Visit Pittsburgh's cards at IMEX worked a trade show stand.
